OUR VISION

Building on 25 years of expertise, Wonder Years is inspired by the concept of metamorphosis. Children undergo their most rapid development within the first six years of life. While no two children are alike, each will engage in their own growing process. Infants, like caterpillars, are new to the world. Through their surroundings, they are learning and developing their sensory skills. Soon, these little caterpillars will transform! Next, there is a period of transition, yearning for independence but still needing the supportive cocoon of their teachers. Before long, these toddlers are ready to fly! As Pre-Schoolers, they are prepared to spread their wings, exercising their newly found independence, ready for school.

OUR NUTRITION

We know that feeding young children can be challenging at times. Our nutrition program encourages each child to become a happy and healthy eater. Wonder Years has a rotating seasonal menu filled with diverse cuisines. We introduce food from different regions of the world to help grow children’s exposure and experience different cultures.

Our in-house cook freshly prepares all meals on-site daily. We provide Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Late Snack. We also can accommodate any specific dietary requirements to ensure every child enjoys a variety of nutritious and tasty foods while in our care.

Through Wonder Fit, we aim to inspire young minds to embrace the wonders of
an active, healthy lifestyle. Our program is led by a team of expert

Personal Trainers, and Multi-sport Coaches. Their guidance ensures that
children not only have a blast but also experience accelerated gross
development.

staying active. With Wonder Fit, we're nurturing a generation that's fit,
motivated, and ready to take on the world!

What is OWNA?

OWNA is our families communication app. Once your child enrols in our centre, you will be invited to download the OWNA app and set up your profile. In OWNA, you will receive daily updates and photos and be able to communicate directly with your child’s educators.

What is the Child care subsidy (CCS)?

The Child Care Subsidy is assistance from the Federal Government to help with the cost of child care.

How do I apply for CCS?

You can apply for CCS through Centrelink.

If you do not have your child’s Customer Reference Number (CRN), you need to contact Centrelink to update your family status and add your child.

If you already have your child's Customer Reference Number (CRN), you can submit a claim online through the MyGov portal. Once your claim is approved, the CRN you provided us on the enrolment form will automatically update our system with your entitlements.

The government pays Wonder Years directly, and you are responsible for the gap fee.
E.g If daily fees are $120 a day, and your CCS entitlement is 50%, the government pays us $60 a day, and you will only be billed for $60.

Centrelink is constantly adjusting entitlements based on your circumstances, which means that your entitlements might change week to week. To find out more information about CCS and eligibility, go to the Child Care Subsidy Information page on Services Australia or contact the Centrelink Families Line on 136 150

Can I claim ccs on wonder Years fees?

Yes, you can! Wonder Years is an approved Child Care Service. Once you have an approved claim with Centrelink, you will just provide your and your child’s CRN in your enrolment form.

What do I need to enrol my child?

To enrol your child at Wonder Years Early Learning Centres, complete the online enrolment form and upload the required documentation.

  • Enrolment form completed and signed by both parents/guardians
  • Copy of government-issued ID of both parents/guardians and emergency contacts.
  • Copy of child’s birth certificate
  • Up-to-date immunisation records from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR)
  • Any other relevant documents relating to allergies, medical plans, proof of guardianship, custody orders etc.

We also have copies of the enrolment forms available at the centre, which you can complete in person after a tour.

Our enrolments team will review and reach out to confirm your child’s spot. Once approved, you will need to pay the refundable bond of 2 weeks' fees and the non-refundable enrolment fee.

We also ask all new families to complete a “Getting To Know You” Form, which allows our educators to get to know your child before their start date so we can ensure a smooth transition.

Is there a minimum number of days required for enrolment?

The minimum enrolment is two days per week. A minimum of two days is critical for routine building by allowing children to settle and form attachments with educators and their peers.

Once a child turns 4, we recommend at least four days to help prepare them for the routine of school and build friendships that will instill confidence and teamwork skills.

What are the educator/children ratios?

Nursery Room
1 Educator to 4 Children

Toddler Room
1 Educator to 5 Children

Pre-School Room
1 Educator to 10 Children
